Scoil an Linbh Íosa is proud to report a positive news story! An act of kindness, enterprise and teamwork has been displayed by the kids of Emerson Court.
Over the past few weeks they set up a sale of work at a wall of an empty, unused house and turned it into their place of work.
They arranged shifts and managed the float and takings. Between them, the gang created handmade signs, loom band friendship bracelets, homemade play dough, stress balls out of balloons and also gathered together bric-a-brac to sell.
As a result €40 was presented to Down Syndrome Ireland. We are so delighted with their efforts and kindness. We really have great kids and lovely community to live in.
