As our Christmas holidays have finally arrived, everyone in Scoil an Linbh Íosa has been super busy doing Christmas art, swapping presents and waiting on the anticipated visit from Santa.
On Thursday 20th, we had a visit from Santa Claus. Santa met the junior end of the school in our wonderfully decorated foyer. The children sang songs for him, told jokes and promised to remember the meaning behind Christmas - The birth of Jesus. He also visited the senior classes who performed for him as well.
6th classes were treated to some hot chocolate on their last day and some treats for working so hard throughout the year. While they drank and ate, they took part in a Christmas Quiz and they played charades together. They really enjoyed their final day before the Christmas break.
