Aims of Policy
- To create and affirm an awareness of the value of homework.
- To inform teachers, guardians and children of their roles and responsibilities.
- To set clear guidelines regarding content/time.
- To provide for consistency and continuity.
- To develop good homework practices throughout the school.
Time Guidelines
- Junior/ Senior Infants Up to 10mins
- 1st/ 2nd Up to 20mins
- 3rd/4th 30-40mins
- 5th /6th No more than 1hr 15mins
