Science
Last year, Scoil an Linbh Iosa successfully applied for a national award for science excellence. We achieved the award by completing a number of tasks designated by the Discover Primary Science program.
The tasks included visits to discovery centres, school-based talks to the children from science experts and most excitingly, the participation of our students in many class-based experiments.
The enthusiastic involvement of pupils and staff from junior to senior classes helped us to achieve this honour for our school.
This year, we are again applying for the award. We hope to keep you updated on our progress and on any other matters of general scientific interest that arise in our school through this website.
