When they set we ate them. They were delicious!
Today (Thursday, 18th Sep.) we made rice krispie buns. First, we broke the chocolate into small squares and placed them in a bowl. We then melted the chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute. Next, we poured rice krispies into the melted chocolate and mixed them together. Lastly, we spooned them into bun cases. When they set we ate them. They were delicious! Recently, we read The Hare and the Tortoise. We really enjoyed listening to the story however, we had the most fun when we acted in role of the hare and the tortoise. Why don't we retell the story and you can look at some of the pictures. We sponge painted the hare and the tortoise. Have a look...We sequenced the storyOur work is displayed on Our Story CornerMs Keoghs class are planning a super new school year! We are back to school 3 weeks now and have settled back into our routine very well. We have two new boys in our class whom we all enjoy playing and working with. Today we made pancakes.
We used 300 ml of milk, 1 egg and 100 g of flour. We took turns whisking the eggs, flour and milk. Seán cracked the egg into the bowl. We saw the yolk and the white mixing together. Then we used our new induction hob! We all ate some of the pancakes. Welcome back everyone.
We have had a great start to the school year. Already we have started our projects on Prosperous. We are busy writing about Robert Brooke and hope to start our power points next week. Our teacher says that we will also have to go down to the village and take pictures of the older buildings so watch this space!! It looks as if we are going to have a very busy year. We welcome Mark into our classroom. He knows three of the children already.
We also met Fidelma today and are delighted she will be working with us next week. |
