A cause very close to our hearts here in Scoil an Linbh Íosa, Daffodil Day always brings great excitement among the children. Not only is it a day where there are no school uniforms, but it also a chance for everyone to donate and support a very worthy cause in the fight against cancer.
It was wonderful to see so many of the children and staff donned in their yellow attire as they entered the school gates on Friday morning. Energy and enthusiasm was evident across all the classrooms and the sea of yellow along the corridors brought many a smiles to faces.
We were delighted to raise approx. €800, with that figure sure to rise next week. Thank you one and all for your generous support to this worthy cause!
