The boys and girls of sixth class bade a final farewell to the younger students and staff of Scoil an Linbh Íosa at the end of year Graduation mass today, Wednesday 28th.
In a special presentation from Principal Mrs. Hetherton, they each received a pen - a symbol of all they've learned in primary school and something to take with them to second level, to aid their future studies.
They sang One Call Away, a reminder that they're never alone and that they'll be there for each other in the years to come. It's fair to say that emotions were running high all round!
They enjoyed their final afternoon, celebrating with a party. A special thanks to Callum Howley and his Mum for the beautiful and delicious cake. As Mrs. Hetherton said, they will be remembered as a kind and caring class grouping. They have left their mark forever in the form of a beautiful piece of artwork on display in the foyer on the Legacy Wall. We wish the sixth class of 2017 the very best. |
