The boys and girls of sixth class bade a final farewell to the younger students and staff of Scoil an Linbh Íosa at the end of year Graduation mass today, Wednesday 28th.
In a special presentation from Principal Mrs. Hetherton, they each received a pen - a symbol of all they've learned in primary school and something to take with them to second level, to aid their future studies.
They sang One Call Away, a reminder that they're never alone and that they'll be there for each other in the years to come. It's fair to say that emotions were running high all round!
| They enjoyed their final afternoon, celebrating with a party. A special thanks to Callum Howley and his Mum for the beautiful and delicious cake. As Mrs. Hetherton said, they will be remembered as a kind and caring class grouping. They have left their mark forever in the form of a beautiful piece of artwork on display in the foyer on the Legacy Wall. We wish the sixth class of 2017 the very best. |
