Early Thursday morning we had a special visit from representatives of Clane Rugby Club. These representatives explained to the children about their rugby club and about the opportunity to join the club if the children were interested. A great amenity right on our doorstep! However, what excited the children most about this visit was the cups that accompanied the men.
The reps visited every classroom to show two amazing cups - The Pro 14 and the Heineken Champion's cups. The children were in awe of these amazing trophies of which Leinster have recently won. They got to hold the cups and examine them! They looked much bigger in real life than on TV! Who knows, maybe some of our current students will be lifting these cups one day!
