Scoil an Linbh Íosa have won the Mangahigh Maths Week Ireland Challenge 2015 with a brilliant score of 27,806 points.
Let’s hear it for the children! They were amazing. Morale between classes reached a new high as the children from First to Sixth worked together to achieve this goal. We are so proud of them all!
391 of our children played maths games and quizzes this week.
They won a total of 2,732 Bronze medals, 1,974 Silver medals and 7,075 gold medals!
They played the games and activities with skill, patience and persistence. Learning from their mistakes, they replayed activities and upgraded their medals where possible to get the best score for the school.
Special thanks to parents who endured a lot of screen time this week. Thank you all very much for encouraging your child. Taking part in the competition was wonderful and winning was an added bonus.
