n Thursday 4th October third class enjoyed a geology and mapping workshop as part of the Heritage in Schools Scheme. With the guidance of an expert, we had hands on experience identifying the different types of rocks we were told about. We also got to see fossils and even a Trilobite which is an extinct marine creature. Ms. Lowe's class thought it looked like a woodlouse! After our work in the classroom the classes worked outside developing their mapping skills. We focused on the garden. The classes helped to identify the types of trees and then went in search of other elements of nature. We really enjoyed our workshop especially learning outside in the garden. Comments are closed.
