Health and Safety Policy
The Health and Safety Policy represents the school’s commitment to the health and safety of pupils, staff and all visitors to the school and, the means by which this is maintained. It has been drawn up to comply with legislative requirements and compliance with this statement is required by all those entering the school premises.
The objectives of our statement include, but are not limited:
• To comply with The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989/2005;
• To identify risks;
• To assess risks on the premises;
• To implement systems of control and/or eliminate the hazards and risks identified above;
• To identify and assign responsibilities for health and safety and assign resources;
• To gain the commitment of all members in the work place; and
• To provide for a review procedure.
