SEN Policy
This policy was reviewed by the Principal and Staff of Scoil an Linbh Íosa, Prosperous, Co. Kildare, in March 2017, following a consultative process.
The purpose of this document is to outline our school’s policy with regard to pupils who have been identified with learning difficulties and who require supplementary educational needs (SEN) provision. The provision of supplementary teaching is a collaborative responsibility shared by all - The Board of Management, Principal, Class teachers, SETs (Special Education Teacher), SNAs (Special Needs Assistant), parents and children. It also supports the pupils in our Assisted Learning Classes.
