On Sunday, 1st of October Scoil an Linbh Íosa in association with Pop-up Races Ireland will host both a 5km and 10km run.
The PTA have been extremely busy behind the scenes organising this family event that will hopefully see the people of Prosperous and the wider community hit the roads to raise funds for our school. A 'couch to 5km' has been established and runs every Monday and Wednesday evenings from half 7 at the school gates. Everyone is welcome and this caters for all fitness types.
The students and staff have also been busy training for this run with many classes taking to the yard to build up the mileage in preparation of the big day.
The school are looking forward in anticipation to Sunday the 1st of October and we cannot wait to celebrate after the run with bouncy castles and a BBQ for all participants.
