On behalf of the staff and management of Scoil an Linbh Íosa I wish to express my sincere gratitude to all involved in the Family Fun Run yesterday, Sunday October 1st.
This was a wonderful occasion for our school community. The months of planning and preparation by the very hard-working Pop Up Committee paid off as hundreds of people walked, ran or jogged 5km and 10km along the canal.
It was a truly family event, with grandparents, parents and children crossing the line together. There was a lovely friendly atmosphere with great community support.
So thank you to all who took part behind the scenes or out on the roads. Thank you also to our sponsors.
Please be assured that the monies raised will be used to enhance the educational opportunities of the children of Prosperous.
