We are so lucky to have such a wonderful secondary school directly opposite us who afford us so many opportunities to come and visit each year. It was no different this year as our fifth class children were invited to attend workshops based upon 'internet safety day.'
One of the main topics of these workshops was sharing information online. The Safer Internet Committee from St. Farnan's develop and facilitated workshops on social media, password security and the internet for our students.
Previous to the workshops, the committee also organised a poster competition with the winners receiving a stationary hamper.
We are very grateful to the St. Farnan's students and teachers for inviting us and making us more knowledgeable on the topic of internet safety!
