Ruarí will be participating in the Special Olympics Ireland Games, representing the Eastern Region, from June 14th to 17th.
Ruarí won through the Area heats and then through the Regional heats to get to the finals. He will be one of 403 athletes representing the Eastern Region in the Morton Stadium, Santry.
Ruarí's events are the 25m run and the Stand Long Jump.
