The following are a list of suggested websites, apps and general activities which may be useful as our school is closed for a two-week period. The list is not exhaustive and the following are recommendations. Our aim is to assist where possible and try and make this difficult situation slightly easier for parents and our students.
As mentioned in Ms. Hetherton's letter, we do not want to overwhelm anyone with extra work. The idea behind this 'booklet' of work suggestions is to provide alternative educational resources that children and parents might like to dip in and out of.
The following files contains a multitude of work. It covers each subject of the curriculum while also exploring the creative side of education with ideas of art websites. There are many brain break activities suggested and PE style lessons also mentioned. It also highlights useful educational companies which are offering free trials - handy if anyone has forgotten books in school or would like to look at different textbooks. Please have a look through this booklet and pass it on if it is of help to anyone else. Our sincerest thanks.
