World Book Day celebrations are always a firm favourite in our school and this year was no different. The standard of costumes and the effort that every pupil put into their costumes was magnificent. Read more about our celebrations below.
World Book Day was celebrated in our school on Friday 3rd of March. All the children and staff in our school were invited to dress up as characters from their favourite books. Before Friday, all the classes in our school decorated their classroom doors with characters from their favourite books. Check out the pictures below to see some of the amazing creations. It really brightened up our corridors!
Lots of classes had so many fun activities in their classrooms to celebrate World Book Day. We did lots of shared reading where the senior pupils read stories with the Junior pupils, comic strip creations, art inspired by our favourite books and even some webinars with famous authors. On Friday, we had a big school parade in our hall with all the children. Everyone got to show off their amazing costumes for everyone else in the school.
