Vibrant colours and patterns graced the walls of Scoil an Linbh Íosa today, the 21st of March, as we all wore odd socks to mark World Down Syndrome Day 2019. We were delighted to be able to support the well-being and raise awareness of those with Down Syndrome.
Every child was excited to show off their colourful, patterned and odd socks this morning. We spoke at length about Down Syndrome and the lives of those with Down Syndrome particularly some of the children in our school. We are so lucky to teach and learn with these wonderful children!
