Maths:

• Master Your Maths -> 1 section per day
• Fractions 2 (pg. 90-92)

Finding a fraction of a whole number e.g.: 2/5 of 35 (rule: divide by the bottom number (35/5 = 7) & multiply by the top number (7x2=14))
 
English:

• Modern Handwriting -> 1 page per day
• Reading – 15 mins daily & book report when finished the book to share with the class
• Word Wizard, Unit 10, pgs.49-54

 
Gaeilge:

• Abair Liom – An Aimsir (Try your best – use your foclóir to help)
• Lch. 122/3 (feach ar an bpostaer agus na focail nua – Look at the poster and the new words)
• Lch. 124 (Léigh an scéal agus Q1-5 – use the story to answer the questions)
• Lch. 125 (C) (Finish the sentence – B’fheidir go mbeidh ________ ann – Use the picture for clues!)
• Lch. 129 – Litreacha “ei” (use your dictionary)

 
Project Work: Extreme Weather Conditions
Choose 1 of the following: Hurricanes, tornados, drought, thunderstorm, blizzard, monsoon
Each project must have: (Poster or Google Slides)

• Description of the extreme weather condition (what, where, when and why)
• Effects on human life, environment and nature
• Interesting facts and pictures
