Today, the children had their school tour. They went to Rathbeggan Lakes, in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. From the moment we got on the bus, everyone's excitement took over and we knew we had an excellent day in store. The children were able to complete a wide range of activities. They completed a heritage walk which focused on the Stone Age. The children were able to visit Baileys & Moates as well as Crannógs which brought what we have learnt in History to real life. The children were also given the opportunity to go on the paddles boats on the lakes and try and keep their balance in the water rollers. After lunch we visited the playground, pet farm and an array of bouncy castles. Its safe to say we all really enjoyed our day! Comments are closed.
