The Parent Teacher Association have extended a warm thank you to all who have been so generous throughout 2016. Have a look under the 'Parents' section on this website or click here to view it.

Charitable organisation "Walking in their Shoes" is running an appeal for the homeless, giving out Christmas stockings full of goodies. Some staff and students from Scoil an Linbh Íosa took part in the appeal. Over 50 stockings were filled with socks, gloves, hats, toiletries and sweet treats. A huge thanks to the staff members and to third class who generously donated.

The children at Scoil an Linbh Íosa are extremely busy preparing for the annual Christmas concert. Junior infants, First class, Third class and Fifth Class are all participating in the play this year. All the children are very excited to show off their hard work. Everyone at Scoil an Linbh Íosa looks forwarding to welcoming all the parents next Wednesday, the 21st of December.

On Wednesday the 14th of December Scoil an Linbh Íosa hosted our annual Christmas Quiz.  Over 44 teams took part, including visiting teams from Allenwood, Allen, Kildare town, Milltown, Carragh, Tiermohon, Rathcoffey, Celbridge and Coill Dubh.

The night was full of festive cheer, with challenging questions and super scores!  Congratulations to Rathcoffey N.S., who were our winners on the night.  Well done also to all the other teams who took part in the quiz.
