Straffan Butterfly Farm and the Kildare Maze
 Third Class have been very creative this year in the Visual Arts Strand of the Curriculum. This term Ms Smyth's class have looked at Edvard Munch's "Scream" and they created their own version of this picture using oil pastels.  Third Class have experimented with different types of printing this year. They printed using printing inks, rollers and Styrofoam trays. Look at some of the results of their printing process!!  Ms Shanley's class studied the work of the American artist Georgia O' Keeffe. They used chalk pastels to create some art in the style of this artist.  Ms Smyth's class really enjoyed looking at the work of the mysterious graffiti artist Banksy. They are still trying to solve the mystery of who Banksy really is!! :-)
