With our Confirmation day looming, we all have been extremely busy preparing for the ceremony. We have a lot of art work to complete to display in the church. We also have attended mass every Thursday morning in preparation. We have been busy filling the walls of Scoil an Linbh Íosa with the sound of sweet music. Our Confirmation scrapbooks are bursting at the seams with all we have learned in preparation and will be kept as a memory of our special year for decades to come.
Last Thursday, 19th April we had the Ceremony of Light & Reconciliation. This was our opportunity to confess our sins and to cleanse our souls in preparation to receive the Holy Spirit. We partook in a wonderful ceremony. We we're accompanied by family and friends alike and enjoyed spending this time together. We finished off the ceremony with a rendition of 'Shine Jesus Shine'.
