This week the children decorated our class Christmas Tree, kindly provided by Calvin Farrell’s parents complete with stand and water bowl. The class will be designing and creating their own ornaments in the lead up to Christmas, but until then these will do nicely.
Last month the class conducted Science Experiment using Newton’s 3rd Law to launch Bottle Rockets. First they designed their rockets and launch pads, then mixed baking soda and vinegar to create carbon dioxide!

In our biweekly Teach a Lesson segment the following students delivered excellent content!
Sadhbh Dennehy gave the children a lesson on Musicianship, as well as giving them a few words of Portuguese.
Kelly Rock is a keen Scout, and taught the class about some of the history of the organisation and the activities they do – she devoted most of her time to ensuring they could make the “Scouts Honour” sign correctly!
Jack Gordon used his “Teach a Lesson” to instruct the class on the noble sport of Bumball.
Like Sadhbh before him, Matthew Bodindorfas chose to honour his heritage by teaching us some Lithuanian. He even brought in some Lithuanian sweets to share with the group!
Sophie Lewis quizzed the class on Dogs, and Crossbreeds in particular.
