Our Incubator in Action:
Our Eggs Hatching:
11 healthy Chicks greeted us on Friday morning to everyone's delight!
A kind parent has given Ms. Lowe's class an incubator with 12 eggs. The incubator turns the eggs every few hours much to the delight of the class. The parent has visited the class each week to check on progress. The class have had the opportunity each week to see inside an egg using a microscope. It is truly amazing to see how the chick is developing each week. The eggs are due to hatch this week. Our only hope is that we are in school when it happens. Our Incubator in Action:Our Eggs Hatching: Hatching day started immediately with the sound of cracking eggshells and faint chirping. Our Gaeilge lesson livened up at 10:45 when a beak was spotted. Work was quickly abandoned so we could witness a truly amazing sight. Throughout the day, other chicks continued to hatch. At 4:30 pm this afternoon the chick count stood at 6! **Update** 11 healthy Chicks greeted us on Friday morning to everyone's delight! Comments are closed.
