What an exciting time we had searching for lots of eggs on our Easter Hunt on the day before the holidays. We managed to find most of them and enjoyed eating the Easter treats! We have been working so hard in Ms. Mahoney's class for the second term of the year and the time is flying! Below are some pictures of our wonderful Easter bonnets. We loved showcasing them on our catwalk in front of the rest of the school. We worked very hard to make these lovely creations! We love Gaeilge in Junior Infants. We make a great effort to speak Irish in our classroom and we love singing as Gaeilge. Sa fiseán seo, táimid ag canadh 'Ag Siopadóireacht' Junior Infants were learning about floating and sinking. First they predicted the outcome and then everyone had a turn to put an item into the basin on water. They were very excited! We went on an Easter hunt in the classroom! There was great excitement as they searched the room for 2 eggs each. Junior Infants have been learning all about the Fire Station in Aistear. They had great fun pretending to be firefighters, playing with water, playing board games and making fire engines. We have been busy learning all about the signs of Spring. We have done lots of art based on Spring such as our bird seed art and also have been creating beautiful Cherry Blossom Trees! |
