We read the story 'We're going On A Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen. We talked about all the places the family went and used lots of different materials for each place; sponges and green paint for the long wavy grass, blue paint and brushes for the deep cold river, sugar brown paint for the thick oozy mud, newspaper and green crepe paper for the big dark forest, silver glitter for the swirling whirling storm and brown crepe paper for the narrow gloomy cave. 

We read the story 'The Rainbow Fish' by Marcus Pfister. We drew pictures of the rainbow fish and used coloured crepe paper and silver paint to decorate our fish.
