We had such a wonderful day that we will always remember. A big thank you to Gerry who so kindly let us use his garden for our picnic!
Today was such an exciting day for us as we went on a Teddy Bear's picnic with our shared reading partners - sixth class. We were able to bring our favourite teddy bear to accompany us on our picnic and we also brought our lunch. The sixth class children collected us in our classrooms and we made the short walk to Gerry, our Caretaker's wonderful garden. We chatted with the sixth class boys and girls on the way. When we arrived we left our bags and teddies down and played lots of fun games together. We then ate our lunch with the sixth class before we departed back to school. We saw Gerry's hen's and he even showed us some eggs that they had freshly laid. We had such a wonderful day that we will always remember. A big thank you to Gerry who so kindly let us use his garden for our picnic! Comments are closed.
