The children of Mr. Geaney's class were very busy today. They were mimicking the work of Michelangelo on the Sistine chapel. They laid flat on their backs, and placed a piece of paper under their tables. They sketched something Renaissance inspired and really enjoyed taking on the role of Michelangelo!
All the children had great fun in PE this week. We have been working on our gymnastic routines and we performed our 15 movement routine for the rest of the class. Have a look at our pictures to see us in action!
The fifth class children have been extremely busy since their return to school after the Christmas break. We have been studying the Renaissance in History, decimals in Maths and Europe in History. Our art work this week created cool
pictures using pastels. Each one is very unique and we are very proud of our art work displayed outside our classroom for everyone to see.
