We celebrated Yellow Day in aid of The Irish Cancer Society in our classroom on Friday. We donned our best yellow attire and visited the beautiful daffodils in our garden! Ms. Lowe's class had lots of fun this week practicing their Irish dancing. Check out their performance here, along with some pictures of them on Lá glas. We also celebrated World Down Syndrome Day 2022 by 'rocking our socks'. Everyone wore colourful, stripy or odd socks! In English we were working on procedural writing and decided we needed to follow the instructions from the book to see if we could actually make S'mores in a microwave in 15 seconds. It took 5 seconds longer but we were NOT complaining, see for yourself!! |
