We've been a little quiet in the blogging world this term so far, so after mid-term we'll aim to make more of an effort with our blog. But for now, here's a quick look at what we've been up to so far.  We set our goals for the year. We're all very ambitious and have high expectations of ourselves. Ag imirt "Cé Mise?" as Gaeilge. Bhí an-spraoi againn. Putting our work on nouns, adjectives and verbs to good use in literacy stations. We produced a spooky house, in groups, with lists of nouns, adjectives and verbs to describe it.  The finished products.
We used what we learnt about recount writing to recount Mr. Men stories for all to see.  Ag téacsáil sa rang! Táimid an-chúl- agoa! #agfoghlaimgaeilgesabhliain2014 Zumba in full swing in Room 9. We have some brilliant dancers!  Finally, we worked really hard during maths week to come fifth nationally in Mangahigh!
We have been playing MinecraftEDU with Mr. Molloy. It's a special version of Minecraft for classrooms. Click here to find out more. We worked in teams to collaborate and problem solve. Along the way we integrated many different school subjects including English, SESE, Science, Art and Maths. We also learned what it means to be a good digital citizen in the 21st century!
