Ms. Gaire's First Class has worked happily and hard throughout this school term.
Over the past few months, we had many interesting visitors come to speak to our class:
🔻In October, we had a visit from Aoife, a Dental Nurse. She gave us tips on how best to care for our teeth.
🔻 A member of the Road Safety Authority came to speak to us about being safe on the roads. We revised the important Safe Cross Code.
🔻 A staff member from Zoo Mania came to visit us and spoke about caring for pets. We were lucky enough to pet a beautiful, fluffy rabbit.
🔻Kevin, an astronomer paid us a visit during Science Week in November. He told us many interesting facts about Space. We saw videos showing the inside of a space rocket!

We enjoy celebrating festivals in First Class. To celebrate Halloween, we dressed up in fantastic costumes and created amazing pieces of Art work.
We have been very busy learning about new topics in many subject areas. Here are a few photographs of us learning about “Shapes."
November and December brought great excitement to our classroom as we began preparing for Christmas. We produced festive Art work and learned new songs, dance moves and lines for the play "Born in a Barn." Here are some photographs of our lead up to Christmas.
