The students of Fifth class have been working very hard on the money strand of the maths curriculum in Mr. Geaney's room.
Today, we made use of Aldi catalogues to practice what we are learning in maths. We were set a budget of €125 and we had to design a playroom using this money. We tried our best to get as close to the budget as possible. We investigated the prices of the toys in the catalogue and made our decisions. We then cut out pictures, added prices and answered some problems. The nearest someone got to this was €124.98.
We had lots of fun while using all of our money skills.
