Over the past 6 weeks, Mr. Molloy worked with Ms. Lowe's class on coding using the MakeCode platform. There are definitely many budding computer scientists in the class, with children successfully completing tasks such as setting the conditions for variables and using a micro:bit to send and receive messages via radio using Bluetooth. As part of our tasks we also played games and completed a research project. Pairs chose an endangered animal to research and presented their findings to the class. We also got to construct a model of our animals habitat using recycled materials. Ms.Lowe's class really enjoyed this experience. A big THANK YOU again to Mr. Molloy 👏
National Tree Day- Ms. Lowe's class planted Wild Cherry Trees. We also learned facts about The Hawthorn Tree and did some planting with Gerry in the polytunnel.
